This northern chain of Bahamian islands offers some of the best sailing in the world! The lay of the islands offers protection from the ocean’s waves and swells allowing calm sailing. Every day we will sail to explore different islands, beaches, and reefs. And every night we will anchor behind a different island enjoying our own paradise.

The amazing Sailing Ship “Ciganka”
“Ciganka” is a 78 ft. steel gaff rigged ketch weighing in at 65 tons. We designed and built her entirely by ourselves. We live aboard her full time. We have air conditioning, flush toilets, fresh water showers, new snorkel and fishing gear, and a brand new 24 ft. stretch limo dinghy! We have a 6 burner stainless steel stove and oven in the galley and big BBQ grill. We'll have fun cooking together making delicious meals like NY strip steak, BBQ chicken, homemade desserts, fresh fruits and vegetables and a pizza party!

During your time aboard “Ciganka” you will learn all aspects of running and sailing the ship. This is a participating charter where you, a crew member, will work together with your shipmates as a team. It will be a week of many amazing learning experiences and a lot of fun! 	The WI, CO, and IL Crew
	This group came from 3 different states - WI, CO, and IL. They did not know each other but they were all ready to make the most of their week aboard Ciganka. The week started out with literally no wind.
	THE Exceptional Crew - Saline, MI
	It all began in 2004 when Boy Scout Troop 446 from Saline, MI boarded Ciganka for a week of high adventure and sailing. Then in 2007 Venturing Crew 444 from Saline, MI came on board to share what they experienced 3 years earlier with their new crew mates.
	Venture Crew 125 - Rochester, MI
	A huge thank you to such a fun, energized, easy going crew that made the most of everything they did all week long. When they went out on a snorkel you could hardly get them out of the water. When they went hiking and exploring on an island they would check out every nook and cranny as to what was there.
